Evolution and Race

The ugly combination of evolution and racism has been a topic I’ve debated discussing on this blog for some time. I’ve delayed it because race is a hot-button issue in today’s culture and I know evolutionists will erupt at what I have to say. However, as some of you may have realized from my transgender articles, I’ve determined to speak the truth, regardless of how popular it is.  With that in mind, I’ve determined to go ahead and hit this topic.

For the record, I want it to be clear that I do not believe that any race is superior to any other. In fact, I do not believe in race, period. Acts 17:26 says “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;” The “one blood” means we are all alike, be we black, white, or anything in between.  The Bible makes it clear that all men are descended from Adam and, further down the line, from one of Noah’s three sons.  That makes every “race” equally human and therefore deserving of equal treatment in every manner.

Evolution, however, has artificially inflated the concept of race. The roots of this go all the way back to Darwin himself. The original title of his most famous work was “On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection or The Preservation of the Favored Races in the Struggle for Life” This is concealed as much as possible by evolutionists today. I was at a major bookstore over last weekend and noticed two different editions of Darwin’s book. Neither one included the second half of the title anywhere.  While Darwin himself was opposed to slavery, his ideas bore fruit in giving strength to racist ideas.  Stephen Jay Gould, the purveyor of the punctuated equilibrium theory of evolution, stated: “Biological arguments for racism may have been common before 1859, but they increased by orders of magnitude following the acceptance of evolutionary theory”. Essentially Darwin massively strengthened acceptance of racism and was likely at least mildly touched with the racist bug himself, as seen in the below quote. ” The more civilized Caucasian races have beaten the Turkish hollow…Looking to the world at a no very distant date, what an endless number of the lower races will have been eliminated  by the higher civilized races throughout the world.” Darwin makes it clear he considered the Caucasian “race” is more civilized and will eliminate the lower, ie less white, races eventually.

This racism, evidenced in the founders of evolution, oozes out in its devotees. One of Darwin’s most ardent followers was Karl Marx.  The author of Das Kapital and The Communist Manifesto was so taken with Darwin’s ideas of descent with modification and historical development of race that he wanted to dedicate part of Das Kapital to Darwin. The naturalist declined, as Marx was noted as a social revolutionary, which did not sit well with Darwin’s Victorian mindset. However, the most famous person to attempt to practice this evolutionary racism is a beer hall thug named Adolf Hitler.  Hitler was an almost fanatical follower of Darwin. In his book, Social Darwinism in Ernst Haeckel and the German Monist League Daniel Gasmann points out this about Hitler. “For Hitler, evolution was the hallmark of modern science and culture, and he defended its veracity as tenaciously as Haeckel.”  Sir Arthur Kay backs this in his book Evolution and Ethics “The German Fuhrer, as I have consistently maintained, is an evolutionist; he has consciously sought to make the practice of Germany conform to the theory of evolution.” In case anyone has forgotten, Hitler’s Nazi regime oversaw the Holocaust, a mass genocide of Jews, people of Slavic backgrounds, Poles, the disabled, the mentally ill, and anyone else Hitler took a dislike to.  The full toll of this slaughter is unknown but is certain to exceed six million lives. And this is making “the practice of Germany conform to the theory of evolution”.

The above should be evidence enough that evolution is racist by nature, but there are more modern examples.  A number of years ago, at a high school in Colorado called Columbine, two Nazi teenage boys walked in and began shooting fellow students. They targeted specific individuals, including 17 year old Rachel Scott, who had attempted to reach them for Christ, and 18 year old Isaiah Shoels simply because he was black. They deliberate chose Hitler’s birthday, April 20th, to do the shooting. One of the teens wore a tee-shirt that read “Natural Selection”.  The shooting killed thirteen people and wounded twenty-four, not including the two boys killing themselves.  The point of the shooting was to get back at society and to honor their mentor, Hitler, by killing those Hitler hated, such as minorities and Christians.

The fruits of evolutionary racism still resound in modern evolutionary literature.  If what is written above does not convince you that evolution is racist, then perhaps the below diagram will help convince you.

Note that the skin tone goes from very dark, to white.  This is invariably the case in every diagram attempting to show how man evolved from a monkey. The pinnacle of evolutionary development is always shown as a Caucasian. It is possible that there are diagrams out there which show a non-Caucasian at the top of the diagram but I have not seen one and they are undoubtedly few. This is due to the underlying racist ideology, underpinning both evolution and it’s founders.
